Chepstow 12:20 Persian Delight

Won a bumper last year but had been off the track for 18 months (tendon injury) before returning over hurdles in October.

His return was over C&D were he finished second (short head) to Elegant Escape, arguably a better jump at the last would have sealed it. Elegant Escape has gone on to win in class 2 company at Ascot, so that could be good form.

Nichols who think this horse is a ‘lovely prospect’ has a 29% strike rate over hurdles at Chepstow and when Nichols and Twiston-Davies link up they have posted a 43% win rate over hurdles so far this season.

5/6 – 5 Points
